Default Quick Noob Question

I just started playing Giuld Wars (got sick of WoW) and was wondering at what level should you switch from Pre-Searing over to Searing?
Thanks

It all depends on how you want to start the 'proper' start of GW, I have seen a lot of people go straight through whilst others go in a bit later at say level 8,the benefit of pre searing is that you learn your skills and suffer from no death penalty.

For new players I'd suggest level 7. It's not so low that you'll be disadvantaged in post-searing, nor does it require the endless golem-slaying of say, a level 9.

Thanks for the quick responses, I'm lvl 7 now and have completed all the quests so at this point I guess I need to switch over to continue without killing a million things to level

Once you complete the quests, you're ready to go.

I'd agree with 6-8, that's what I usually sear with.

I too would agree with lvl6-8 for your first character. For later characters, when you probably will have gold, weapons, and supplies waiting for them in storage, you can go through a lot earlier (lvl4 or so)

We have a subforum here at Guru that can handle price checking. It is not for Questions and Answers. Find the Price Check forum here. Although the Canthan Green Weapon price guide sticky seems to have disappeared there should be someone in there who can give you an estimate.
